General Information
We are always looking for new team members to represent the club, we especially want to encourage those riders who make a regular commitment to training clinics and competitions.
Regardless of your ability or experience, there will always be a team competition that will suit you. We want our members to enjoy the team spirit and represent our club at every level.

WHAT WILL REPRESENTING YOUR CLUB ENTAIL?
DRESSAGE:
Dressage teams can be entered at Prelim, Novice, Elementary and Medium and also dressage to music.
There will be 3 or 4 members per team and the top 3 scores are added together for the final result. Dependant on entries, either the top one or two teams and invividual winners(excluding dressage to music) will qualify for the National Championships.
SHOWJUMPING:
Teams can be entered at Novice (80-85cms), Intermediate (85-90cms) and Open (1m+). The teams will consist of 3 or 4 members and the top 3 scores will be added together to give the overall team score and again, either the top one or two teams will qualify for the National Championships as well as the leading individual in each section.
NOVICE INDOOR SHOWJUMPING QUALIFIER:
This is a team competition. Teams of four, no individuals. Two rounds, the first round at 80cm , the second round at 85cm. The winning team qualify for the British Riding Clubs Indoor Show Jumping Championships held at Hartpury College Gloucs in April 2012.
Rules. Horses or Pony cannot compete in this class if they have any BSJA winnings and must not have competed in the Intermediate or Open Show Jumping Qualifier in a Team or as an individual in 2011
HORSE TRIALS:
This competition is run as a one day event, consisting of dressage, showjumping and cross country. The levels will be Novice (equivilent height of BE90) Intermediate (BE100) and Open (BE Novice) The teams will consist of 3 or 4 members and the top 3 scores will be added together to give the overall team score and again, either the top one or two teams will qualify for the National Championships.

In line with the new General Data Protection Regulations, SCRC reviewed how it stores and uses members’ personal data.
SCRC holds and uses information about members including phone numbers, email addresses and postal addresses. We use this information to:
• send members information about club, area and national British Riding Club (BRC) events and news.
• send members reminders about upcoming competitions and duty day obligations.
• Request information from members, e.g. about their preferences for future opportunities, representing the club on teams or providing help at competitions.
• keep BRC informed of our membership.
We share information with BRC so that they can communicate with members about their membership (sending them their annual membership card and quarterly Rider magazine for example) and ensure all those competing in area and national events are eligible to take part.
